The event will feature one of a kind creations made completely from recycled denim, by some of Calgary’s most respected designers; including Paul Hardy, Adejoke Taiwo, Kendall Yellowhorn, Haithem Elkadiki, Diella Ocran and Taryn McKay. These pieces of wearable art will then be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the WWF of Canada, in support of their environmental efforts in Canada.
On May 28th City TV will be featuring the Recycle Denim Maniacs event and our sponsors on the Big Breakfast with Paul Hardy and Adejoke Taiwo (from Project Runway Canada) unveiling their creations on live television..

Apparently a girl in her mid teens decided it was a smart idea to go knee first into the kiddy swings in the park behind my parents residence. Fortunately nobody was hurt minus the feelings of a young girl in tears because her swing got cut down. These boys always draw a crowd.
